CAIROLI: "AL MIO SEGNALE SCATENATE L'INFERNO"

I gladiatori del Motocross hanno conquistato il pubblico della Capitale. 6.800 spettatori hanno assistito, sotto lo splendido sole romano, al secondo Round degli Internazionali d'Italia MX 2013 sulla pista di casa del 6 volte Campione del Mondo Tony Cairoli.

TC#222 ha lanciato la sfida, sulla pista di Riola domenica scorsa, involandosi verso il traguardo in solitaria e i suoi avversari hanno accolto l'invito e hanno risposto sul bellissimo tracciato del crossdromo "Aurelia" a Malagrotta. Oggi in pista si sono visti i numeri e ancora una volta sul podio il nome del siciliano iridato ha risuonato in coro.

Le gare sono state ricche di emozioni, a partire dalla classe 125, riservata agli Under17, dove il lettone Thomas Sileika (KTM) ha duettato con Riccardo Righi (KTM Steel Dr Jack), che finisce secondo nella classifica di giornata ma conquista la tabella rossa di Leader di Campionato e Trofeo Eicma. Terzo il bulgaro Ivan Petrov (KTM).

Nella MX2 si impone Christophe Charlier (Monster Energy Yamaha) con una gara in ripresa sfoderando la grinta da guerriero corso. Secondo Stefan Olsen (Honda JTech Racing), terzo Giacomo Del Segato (KTM Marchetti Racing). Rammarico per Harry Kullas (Honda Gariboldi Racing) che lotta, fino agli ultimi giri, al vertice della corsa ma perde la leadership di Campionato cadendo e finendo in quattordicesima posizione.

Ken De Dycker (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) vince la MX1 e conquista la targa Leader. Il campionissimo Tony Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) domina tutta la gara ma negli ultimi giri un problema tecnico lo costringe a mollare il gas e lasciar sfilare il compagno di squadra. Terza piazza per Evgeny Bobryshev (Honda World Motocross) che dimostra una solida forma fisica.

La classe Elite ha regalato lo spettacolo finale e Cairoli non ha lasciato spazio a nessuno. Incitato dal caloroso pubblico di Malagrotta stacca tutti con un Holeshot strepitoso e mantiene la testa della gara fino alla fine. Secondo Steven Frossard (Monster Energy Yamaha) che conferma il pieno recupero e la volontà di dimostrare il suo grande potenziale. Terzo il russo Evgeny Bobryshev.

Anche questa seconda tappa degli Internazionali di Motocross ha sbancato il botteghino e ha portato in pista i Campioni del Mondiale. Il prossimo appuntamento, il 17 di Febbraio ad Arco di Trento, sigillerà la chiusura di questa edizione e oltre al titolo di Campione assegnerà il titolo di vincitore del Trofeo Eicma, contest voluto da Confindustria ANCMA,  che prevede un montepremi finale per il miglior rider classe Elite e MX125, rispettivamente di 5.000 e 2.500 euro.

The gladiators of Motocross have exalted the fans of the capital. 6800 spectators attended, under the splendid Roman sun, the second round of the International Italian MX Championship  2013 on the home track of the 6 times World Champion Tony Cairoli.

TC # 222 has laid down the gauntlet on the track, bad last Sunday, fly away to the finish line in solitary and his opponents have accepted the invitation and answered on the beautiful  track of the circuit "Aurelia" in Malagrotta and once again on the top of the podium has resonated the name of the Sicilian champion.

The races have been full of gas and emotions.

MX125: Thomas Sileika (KTM) - Riccardo Righi (KTM Steels Dr Jack) - Ivan Petrov (KTM). Righi conquired the Red Plate of the International Championship and Trofeo Eicma.

MX2: Christophe Charlier (Monster Energy Yamaha) has imposed himself and now is the new leader of the Championship. Second Stefan Olsen (Honda JTech Racing), third Giacomo Del Segato (KTM Marchetti Racing).

Ken De Dycker (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) Wind the MX2 and takes the Laedership. Tony Cairoli finish second and third has been Evgeny Bobryshev (Honda World Motocross).

In the Elite class the World Champion has not rivals. He has been the author of a formidabile Holeshot and he has taken the leadership of the race till the end. Second Stevan Frossard (Monster Energy Yamaha) and  Evgeny Bobryshev third.

This second Round has taken "on track" the champions of the World Motocross. The next event, on February 17 at Arco di Trento, will seal the end of this year and will award the Champion of 2013 and the winner of Eicma Trophy, which is the new challenge established by Confindustria ANCMA, and which will assign a final moneyprize of 5.000 euro to the best Elite class rider and 2.500 to the MX125 best young rider.

The last appointment of this edition of the Championship is going to be amazing...
