Buongiorno Alberto,una stagione alle porte con tante novità e a breve si abbasserà il cancelletto di partenza, come ti senti in sella alla tua “nuova” moto italiana? Hai già fatto dei test e quali sono i punti di forza del tuo mezzo?
Buongiorno Ragazzi!! Ho iniziato a girare da poco con la mia nuova Fantic Factory e la prima impressione e stata molto buona, adesso stiamo facendo molti test, è una moto completamente nuova per me quindi stiamo cercando di adattarla al meglio alle mie esigenze ed al mio stile di guida, ma sta procedendo tutto per il verso giusto.

Good morning Alberto, a season full of new developments is just around the corner and the starting gate will soon be lowered. How do you feel riding your “new” Italian bike? Have you already done some testing and what are the strengths of your bike?
Good morning, everyone!
I recently started riding my new Fantic Factory, and my first impression was very good. We are now doing a lot of testing. It is a completely new bike for me, so we are trying to adapt it to my needs and riding style, but everything is going well.

Anni di attività al vertice nel motocross, una stagione 2025 forse da dimenticare, vuoi raccontarci cosa è successo?
Riguardo la stagione 2025 non ho molto da dire è iniziata dopo una fine 2024 inaspettata dove mi sono trovato all’ultimo a cambiare squadra, paese e gruppo di lavoro, comunque mi sono messo sotto e ho lavorato al massimo tutto l’inverno poi durante la prima gara in Argentina, quando avevo anche un virus, mi sono infortunato al ginocchio e il resto e storia, comunque ormai è nel passato e bisogna guardare avanti a questa nuova fantastica avventura!!

Years at the top of motocross, a 2025 season perhaps best forgotten, would you like to tell us what happened?
I don’t have much to say about the 2025 season. It started after an unexpected end to 2024, where I found myself changing teams, countries, and work groups at the last minute.
Anyway, I buckled down and worked hard all winter, but then during the first race in Argentina, when I also had a virus, I injured my knee, and the rest is history. Anyway, that’s in the past now, and we need to look ahead to this fantastic new adventure!

Oggi come ti senti, sappiamo che hai lavorato duramente e che stai bene, come vedi questo inizio di stagione proprio con gli Internazionali d’Italia?
Oggi sto molto bene, ho lavorato e sto lavorando duramente per essere al top della forma e competitivo al massimo, questo inizio di stagione per me sarà un prolungamento della preparazione invernale e dei Test, avendo iniziato da poco dopo l’infortunio e con team e moto nuova arriverò agli internazionali d’Italia proprio per vedere come sta procedendo il tutto e per fare un buon allenamento.

How are you feeling today? We know you’ve been working hard and that you’re doing well. How do you feel about the start of the season with the Italian Open?
I feel great today. I’ve been working hard and continue to do so to get in top shape and be as competitive as possible.
For me, this start to the season will be an extension of my winter training and testing. Having started shortly after my injury and with a new team and bike, I’ll be going to the “Internazionali d’Italia” to see how everything is progressing and to get in some good training.

Guardandoti indietro quali sono i tuoi ricordi migliori?
Non saprei dirti quali sono i miei ricordi migliori, sicuramente ci sono stati molti bei momenti, ma per un motivo o per un altro tutto quello che ho vissuto e che mi è successo mi ha reso quello che sono oggi quindi ne sono molto grato e faccio il massimo per il futuro.

Looking back, what are your fondest memories?
I couldn’t say what my fondest memories are. There have certainly been many good times, but for one reason or another, everything I’ve experienced and everything that has happened to me has made me who I am today, so I’m very grateful and I’m doing my best for the future.

Guardando avanti cosa ti aspetti da questa stagione?
Da questa stagione mi aspetto di iniziare con calma e un passo alla volta migliorare con l’andamento della stagione e di poter rendere al meglio durante tutta l’anno.

Looking ahead, what are your expectations for this season?
This season, I expect to start calmly and improve step by step as the season progresses, so that I can perform at my best throughout the year.

Se dovessi salutare o ringraziare qualcuno, chi metteresti al primo posto e cosa gli diresti oggi al via di questo 2026?
Partirei sicuramente dalla mia Fidanzata (ormai futura moglie) che specialmente in questi ultimi due anni ne ha passate insieme a me di tutti i colori e che come un pilastro mi ha tenuto su anche quando niente sembrava funzionare, poi sicuramente tutta la mia famiglia e anche tutti i miei tifosi che mi hanno sostenuto e aiutato.
Tutto il mio gruppo di lavoro “Team 303” che hanno spinto giorno e notte per farmi essere al top tra allenamenti, fisioterapia, Dieta e tutto quello che ci va dietro!!
Alla mia fidanzata direi intanto grazie di esserci, poi le direi di sorridere e prepararsi che la stagione sta per cominciare, abbiamo tante cose da fare e bei ricordi da creare!

If you had to say hello or thank someone, who would you put first and what would you say to them today at the start of 2026?
I would definitely start with my girlfriend (future wife), who has been through thick and thin with me, especially in the last two years, and who has been my rock, keeping me going even when nothing seemed to be working. Then, of course, my whole family and all my fans who have supported and helped me.
My entire “Team 303” work group, who have pushed day and night to keep me at the top of my game with training, physical therapy, diet, and everything else that goes with it!
To my girlfriend, I would first say thank you for being there, then I would tell her to smile and get ready because the season is about to begin, we have a lot to do and beautiful memories to create!
