Report Time Day#4 – L’ultima giornata di EICMA 2026 a MotoLive ha riproposto la sfida tra le leggende del motociclismo con la Charity Race di Flat Track e ha ospitato l’ultimo appuntamento degli Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series, che hanno incoronato i campioni della stagione 2026. Una giornata dal clima decisamente più favorevole, con qualche sprazzo di sole, temperature più alte e ancora tantissimo pubblico a seguire le gare.
Report Time Day#4 – The final day of EICMA 2026 at MotoLive brought the motorcycle legends back to the track for the Flat Track Charity Race and hosted the final round of the Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series, where the 2026 champions were crowned. Conditions were considerably better, with some sunshine, higher temperatures and another huge crowd turning out to watch the action.

La sfida tra le leggende ha riproposto gli stessi protagonisti e le stesse finali della giornata precedente. Tra i velocisti, Carlos Checa e Marco Melandri si sono nuovamente giocati la vittoria nella finale, con lo spagnolo che ha avuto la meglio anche grazie a un problema tecnico che ha rallentato Melandri. Tra i crossisti, invece, Alex Salvini ha affrontato Christophe Pourcel nel main event, riuscendo a imporsi al termine di un confronto tiratissimo e fatto di giri veloci. La finalissima assoluta tra Salvini e Checa ha visto il pilota italiano dominare il confronto e conquistare così la vittoria di giornata.
Charity Race
The legends’ challenge featured the same riders and the same finals as the previous day. In the road racers’ category, Carlos Checa and Marco Melandri once again went head-to-head in the final, with the Spaniard coming out on top, helped by a technical issue that slowed Melandri down. In the motocross category, Alex Salvini faced Christophe Pourcel in the main event and managed to take the win after a fiercely contested battle featuring some very fast laps. The overall final between Salvini and Checa saw the Italian dominate the race and claim the day’s victory.

The championship’s final round decided the 2026 titles after a series of closely contested races and plenty of dramatic moments.
Nella SX65 Federico Grimi (KTM) è scattato al comando, provando subito ad allungare sugli avversari. A metà gara è stato raggiunto da Leonardo Bungaro (KTM), dando vita a un confronto serrato, risolto dalla caduta di Grimi proprio nel momento decisivo. Bungaro ha così conquistato la vittoria, bissando il successo ottenuto il giorno precedente.
In the SX65 class, Federico Grimi (KTM) took the holeshot and immediately tried to pull away from the field. Leonardo Bungaro (KTM) caught him halfway through the race, setting up a close battle that was decided when Grimi crashed at a crucial moment. Bungaro went on to take the win, repeating his success from the previous day.
Nella SX85 Brando Danesi (KTM) ha conquistato l’holeshot, ma è stato presto superato da Simone Proietti (KTM). Alle sue spalle Pietro Riganti (GASGAS) ha recuperato rapidamente terreno, portandosi in seconda posizione e dando vita a un bel duello con Proietti. La sfida si è però conclusa con una spettacolare caduta di Riganti, che ha lasciato campo libero a Proietti, alla fine vincitore. Secondo posto per Anthony Montoneri (KTM), terzo per Dominick Maifredi (KTM).
In SX85, Brando Danesi (KTM) took the holeshot but was soon passed by Simone Proietti (KTM). Behind them, Pietro Riganti (GASGAS) quickly worked his way up to second place and engaged in a great battle with Proietti. The duel ended with a spectacular crash for Riganti, leaving Proietti free to take the win. Anthony Montoneri (KTM) finished second, ahead of Dominick Maifredi (KTM) in third.
Nella SX125 non c’è stata storia: Edoardo Riganti (TM Moto) ha comandato dalla prima all’ultima curva, conquistando la vittoria e il titolo di Campione degli Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series. Ottima gara per Enrico Panaccio (KTM), secondo al traguardo, con Maxim Zimmerman (Husqvarna) a completare il podio. Davide Salmini è invece caduto a pochi metri dal traguardo, perdendo così un terzo posto che sembrava ormai conquistato.
There was no stopping Edoardo Riganti (TM Moto) in SX125. He led from the first corner to the last, taking both the race win and the title of Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series Champion. Enrico Panaccio (KTM) put in an excellent performance to finish second, with Maxim Zimmerman (Husqvarna) completing the podium. Davide Salmini, meanwhile, crashed just metres from the finish line, throwing away what had looked like a certain third place.
Nella Lites Giorgio Orlando (Kawasaki) è scattato davanti a tutti sin dalla prima curva, imponendo un ritmo che nessuno è riuscito a sostenere. Julien Lebeau (GASGAS), secondo e unico in grado di provare a tenergli testa, è stato fermato a pochi giri dalla fine dalla caduta della catena. Ne ha approfittato Giovanni Meneghello (KTM), che ha conquistato il secondo posto e, soprattutto, il titolo degli Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series. Terza posizione di giornata per Alessio Bonetta (GASGAS).
In the Lites class, Giorgio Orlando (Kawasaki) took the lead from the very first corner and set a pace that nobody could match. Julien Lebeau (GASGAS), in second place and the only rider able to challenge him, was forced out of contention when his chain came off with just a few laps remaining. Giovanni Meneghello (KTM) took advantage, securing second place and, more importantly, the Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series title. Alessio Bonetta (GASGAS) finished third on the day.
Nella SX450 Mario Tamai (GASGAS) ha conquistato l’holeshot, con Yuri Quarti (Husqvarna) subito alle sue spalle, deciso a rimanere in scia anche prendendosi qualche rischio. La lotta per il terzo posto tra Lorenzo Camporese (Fantic) e Matteo Luigi Russi (KTM) si è conclusa con una pesante caduta che ha estromesso entrambi dalla contesa per le prime posizioni. A metà gara Quarti ha trovato il varco giusto per superare Tamai, andando a conquistare vittoria e titolo di Campione degli Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series.
In SX450, Mario Tamai (GASGAS) took the holeshot, with Yuri Quarti (Husqvarna) immediately on his tail, pushing hard and taking a few risks to stay close. The battle for third between Lorenzo Camporese (Fantic) and Matteo Luigi Russi (KTM) ended in a heavy crash that ruled both riders out of contention for the top positions. Halfway through the race, Quarti found his opportunity to pass Tamai and went on to claim both the race win and the title of Internazionali d’Italia Supercross 24MX Series Champion.
La Superfinale ha visto Giorgio Orlando (Kawasaki) scattare al comando e mantenere la leadership per oltre metà gara, con Yuri Quarti (Husqvarna) stabilmente in seconda posizione. A quel punto Quarti ha deciso di aumentare il ritmo, trovando lo spazio per un sorpasso deciso e aggressivo che gli ha permesso di portarsi in testa. Da lì ha gestito la gara fino alla vittoria, mentre Orlando ha chiuso agevolmente al secondo posto. Terza posizione per Paolo Martorano (KTM).
The Superfinal saw Giorgio Orlando (Kawasaki) take the holeshot and lead for more than half the race, with Yuri Quarti (Husqvarna) holding a steady second place. Quarti then decided to raise the pace, finding the opening for a decisive and aggressive pass to take the lead. From there, he controlled the race all the way to the finish, while Orlando comfortably secured second place. Paolo Martorano (KTM) took third.
Con l’ultima giornata di gare si è così conclusa l’edizione 2026 di Eicma e di MotoLive, un’altra grande edizione che ha spostato ancora più in alto i riferimenti di attrattività, partecipazione, spettacolo e presenza del pubblico. Ci vediamo l’anno prossimo!
The final day of racing brought the 2026 editions of EICMA and MotoLive to a close. Another outstanding edition, raising the bar even higher in terms of appeal, participation, entertainment and spectator numbers. See you next year!
